Baseball Recap: Wolfe City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Miller Grove two weeks ago, Wolfe City came back down to earth. The Wolves lost 11-1 to the Cooper Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Wolfe City now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Cooper, they pushed their record up to 11-1-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Wolfe City by a score of 4-3 on Friday.
