Football Recap: Elbert Skates Past Front Range Christian with Ease

Elbert won the last time they faced Front Range Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs breezed past the Falcons to the tune of 48-12. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Elbert's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Jeremiah LaChausse with four. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Elbert received some extra help from Cole Nay, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Elbert's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Front Range Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elbert will square off against Calhan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Elbert's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Front Range Christian, they will host Haxtun at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Fightin' Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
