East Wake Academy came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Research Triangle, but Sam Griffith wouldn't allow it. The Research Triangle Raptors walked away with a 53-45 victory over the East Wake Academy Eagles on Tuesday thanks in part to Griffith, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.
Research Triangle's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for East Wake Academy, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
Looking ahead, Research Triangle will host NCSSM: Durham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Wake Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
