Basketball Recap: Southern Coffey County Comes Up Short

Southern Coffey County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 61-23 defeat at the hands of the Altoona-Midway Jets. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-10.

William Stackhouse continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Altoona-Midway, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten steals. Stackhouse is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 39 games he's played dating back to last season. Kage Beck was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten boards.

Southern Coffey County's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Altoona-Midway, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
