League recap: Over throws longest pass in league this season for Northern Bedford County

Fans got a thrill when Blake Over and Jacob Dasher connected against Glendale. The connection went for 57 yards, the longest such play in Inter-County - Gold this season.

Northern Bedford County scaled the state rankings by moving to 321 from 378 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Vikings 41-0.

Northern Bedford County's dynamic duo of Over and Dasher proved to be unstoppable against Glendale, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Over threw for 218 yards and 3 touchdowns and Dasher had 116 yards receiving. Zane Snyder helped Northern Bedford County's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 51 yards.

Jeff Batzel's team's dynamic duo of Over and Dasher proved tough for Matt Irvine's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Dasher was the best wideout in the league this week as the Panthers defeated the Vikings.

Over put up the best numbers in passing as Northern Bedford County topped Glendale.

Kris Smeal was the most successful running back in Inter-County - Gold this week. He ran for 130 yards on 27 carries as West Branch bested the Vikings. Teammate L.G. Smeal added to the ground attack by rushing for 14 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Northern Bedford County's Over and Dasher have proven to be a lethal combination. Over has thrown for 218 yards this season, while Dasher, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 4 catches for 116 yards. The Warriors' Smeal leads the league in rushing yards with 130.

Southern Huntingdon County lost to Juniata Valley 46-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
