Basketball Game Preview: MacArthur Generals vs. Hyde Park Thunderbirds

The MacArthur Generals will square off against the Hyde Park Thunderbirds on Monday.

MacArthur is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Glenwood just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. The game marked the Generals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Hyde Park sidestepped Perspectives Leadership/Technology for a 57-55 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

The victory got Hyde Park back to even at 9-9. As for MacArthur, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 12-5.
