The defeat dropped IKM/Manning's record to 5-3. The victory bumped Sioux Central's record up to 7-1.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week IKM/Manning take on Ridge View at 7:00 PM. IKM/Manning have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Ridge View are surely hoping to exploit. As for Sioux Central, they will face off against Alta/Aurelia. Those two teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.
