Baseball Game Preview: Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves vs. Buckingham Charter Knights

The Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves will face off against the Buckingham Charter Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Buckingham Charter likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Sacramento. They walked away with a 17-12 victory over the Dragons. The Wolves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Buckingham Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
