Volleyball Game Preview: Menlo-Atherton Bears vs. Aragon Dons + How To Watch

The Menlo-Atherton Bears will face off against the Aragon Dons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Menlo-Atherton will be strutting in after a win while Aragon will be coming in after a loss.

Menlo-Atherton had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Sequoia on Thursday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ravens. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Menlo-Atherton never let Sequoia on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-19.

Menlo-Atherton relied on the efforts of Teagan Forcier-Koranda, who had 17 assists and seven digs, and Kylie Winters, who had six digs and two assists. Forcier-Koranda is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Meanwhile, Aragon unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to Burlingame.

Aragon was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Burlingame work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21, 24-26, 25-12.

Menlo-Atherton will have to contain Sosefina Tatola as she made an impact in Aragon's last game. She had 26 digs and four assists. Eseta Nisa also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Aragon's defeat dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Menlo-Atherton, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.
