Softball Recap: Ironwood Takes a Loss

Ironwood lost against Sunrise Mountain on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell 7-3 to the Mustangs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madelaine Gober made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Ironwood's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Sunrise Mountain, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-9.

Ironwood has already played their next game (against North Canyon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sunrise Mountain, they have also already played their next match, a 14-7 loss against Arizona College Prep on the 21st.
