Baseball Recap: Frazee Comes Up Short

Frazee dropped their record down to 7-6-1 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They lost 10-0 to the Perham Yellowjackets. The game marked the first time this year in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

As for Perham, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 13-0. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by eight runs or more this season.

For Perham's part, Gavin Griffin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Griffin is on a roll when it comes to triples, as he's now hit at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Drew Ellingson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Looking ahead, Frazee will head out to square off against Menahga at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perham, they will welcome Anoka at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
