Douglas County West came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 45-38 victory over the Yutan Chieftains. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-39 back in January.

Douglas County West can attribute much of their success to Zane Wohlers, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Nolan Asher, who scored ten points.

Douglas County West's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Yutan, they moved to 12-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Douglas County West will square off against Syracuse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas County West is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season.
