Volleyball Recap: Staunton Takes a Loss

Staunton was the 2-0 winner over Glenwood when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans on Friday.

While Staunton ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19.

Staunton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Glenwood, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Staunton and Glenwood will both be playing LaSalle-Peru the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
