Aspen is a perfect 6-0 against Rifle since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Skiers will look to defend their home pitch against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Aspen is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Basalt on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Rifle fell victim to Montezuma-Cortez and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. Rifle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rifle now has a losing record of 3-4. Aspen's draw gives them a new season record of 4-3-1.

Aspen took their win against Rifle in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 5-2 score. Do the Skiers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
