Evart got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They won by a set and slipped past the Northern Michigan Christian Comets 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since October 22, 2024.

Evart's win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-10-3. As for Northern Michigan Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
