Football Game Preview: Owensboro Red Devils vs. Pulaski County Maroons + How To Watch

The Owensboro Red Devils will take on the Pulaski County Maroons at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Owensboro's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last 12 contests.

Owensboro is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-6 victory over Woodford County. With the Red Devils ahead 35-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Evan Hampton had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 266 yards and three TDs on only eight carries, while also picking up 51 receiving yards and one touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run. Another player making a difference was DaMarcus Ganaway Jr, who threw for 176 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Owensboro was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodford County only rushed for 111.

Owensboro didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ty Ashley and Tre Shemwell. Ashley is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made ten or more in each of the last three games he's played. Shemwell got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Pulaski County waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They never let the Ravens get on the board and left with a 17-0 win.

Owensboro's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Pulaski County, their win bumped their record up to an identical 12-2.
