The Tabernacle Christian Eagles entered their tilt with the Maranatha Baptist Crusaders with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Tabernacle Christian enjoyed a cozy 71-56 win over the Crusaders on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Leading Tabernacle Christian to victory were Liz Southerland and Annie Sichting. Southerland almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds, while Sichting dropped a triple-double on 33 points, 11 assists, and ten steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Southerland has scored at least a third of Tabernacle Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariah McClure, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.

Tabernacle Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Maranatha Baptist, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
