Baseball Game Preview: Centennial Broncos vs. Thurston-Cuming County

The Centennial Broncos will challenge Thurston-Cuming County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Things were looking good for Centennial after they put the first runs on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 18-4 to Lincoln Lutheran.

Centennial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devin Slawnyk, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was Slawnyk's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Thurston-Cuming County's offense. They came up short against Wayne on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, Thurston-Cuming County's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for Thurston-Cuming County and nudges their season record down to 6-3. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
