Basketball Game Preview: Barrington Eagles vs. West Warwick Wizards

The Barrington Eagles will challenge the West Warwick Wizards at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Barrington has eight straight wins, West Warwick has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Barrington duked it out withCranston West on Friday. Barrington breezed by Cranston West to the tune of 57-28. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Rhode Island basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Falcons are ranked 26th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West Warwick lost 55-35 to Moses Brown on Friday.

Barrington's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for West Warwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
