Chino Hills won the last time they faced St. Lucy and Yanizza Gutierrez did her part to make sure it happened again. The Huskies walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Regents on Monday thanks in part to Gutierrez, who had 16 digs and one assist. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last ten times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 11-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Several Regents players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mya Moshrefi, who had 13 digs and three assists.

The win got Chino Hills back to even at 14-14. As for St. Lucy's, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-19.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chino Hills is set to take on their familiar foe Rancho Cucamonga at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Lucy's will challenge rival Los Osos at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
