Basketball Recap: Ashley Takes a Loss

Ashley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were dealt a 58-29 loss at the hands of the Breckenridge Huskies. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-14 back in December of 2024.

Ashley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Breckenridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Ashley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-35 loss against Montabella on the 24th. As for Breckenridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-46 defeat against Fulton on the 23rd.
