It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Nandua ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Northampton Yellowjackets 10-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-6 last Tuesday.

Nandua's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Northampton, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nandua will challenge Salisbury Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northampton, they will face off against Mathews at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
