Football Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls

The Warren Warriors will face off against the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warren has given up an average of 40.8 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Warren is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 47 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Newton on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 62-6 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

James Barlow put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 76 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Anderson-Shiro and Trinity were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Anderson-Shiro suffered a 21-20 loss. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Owls have lost by just one point.

Anderson-Shiro's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
