Baseball Recap: Taconic Hills Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Taconic Hills's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Greenwich Witches on Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Taconic Hills' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2. As for Greenwich, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taconic Hills will face off against Cairo-Durham at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.67 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Greenwich, they will square off against Averill Park at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Witches' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
