Last Thursday, Elmwood-Murdock took their contest with ease, bagging a 64-34 victory over Weeping Water. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Elmwood-Murdock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Annie Backemeyer, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 18 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Mans, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Conestoga was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 42-38 to Brownell Talbot. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elmwood-Murdock pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Conestoga, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
