Soccer Game Preview: Wolfson vs. Sandalwood

The Wolfson Wolfpack will head out to challenge the Sandalwood Saints at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Wolfson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

If Sandalwood heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Wolfson took over last week. Wolfson narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Providence School 2-1. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Stallions are ranked 416th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

William Reid was the driving force of Wolfson's attack as he scored both of Wolfson's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Sandalwood was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Wolfson who was credited with the victory.

Sandalwood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2-1. As for Wolfson, their win bumped their record up to 14-2-2.
