Basketball Recap: Pearl Takes a Loss

Pearl lost against Oak Grove back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pearl Pirates received a blow as they fell 36-19 to the Oak Grove Warriors.

Pearl's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Oak Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Meridian the next time they take the court. Oak Grove will host Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Pearl will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
