Mills has won three straight games at home, while Menlo School has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Vikings will host the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Mills is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Rancho San Juan by a score of 9-4 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Tino Janke was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kendrick Choi was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Jayden Chan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Mills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, while Menlo School put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Terra Nova. The Knights were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Tigers. The Knights have beaten the Tigers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.
The result came thanks to Jackson Flanagan's shutout, as he gave up just two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Menlo School is 5-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Zach Roeder, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Fletcher Cahill, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Mills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Menlo School, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Mills couldn't quite get it done against Menlo School when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 7-4. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
