Basketball Recap: Cedarcrest Takes a Loss

If Cedarcrest was feeling good fresh off their 61-32 takedown of Sultan last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cedarcrest Red Wolves were dealt a 63-36 defeat at the hands of the Mercer Island Islanders on Friday. The Red Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.

Cedarcrest's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Mercer Island, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedarcrest will square off against Eastlake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastlake will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cedarcrest surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mercer Island, they will face off against Redmond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
