Trinidad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-9 to the Sanford Mustangs. On the bright side, the nine- run effort marked the Miners' highest-scoring game to date.

Trinidad saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brett Kendall, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sanford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Coincidentally, Trinidad and Sanford will both be playing South Park the next time they take the field. The Miners will host the Burros at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will host them at 11:00 a.m. on the 26th.
