Basketball Recap: Three Rivers' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Three Rivers put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Premont Cowboys by a score of 49-37. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Three Rivers to victory were Jayse Alvarado and Corbin Zamzow. Alvarado dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards, while Zamzow shot 43% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Alvarado is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bubba Scott, who posted 14 boards.

Three Rivers' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Premont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Three Rivers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-45 defeat against San Diego on the 26th. As for Premont, they are taking a road trip to challenge San Isidro at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
