Basketball Recap: Boys Ranch Comes Up Short

Boys Ranch lost against Texline back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Boys Ranch Roughriders were outmatched by the Texline Tornadoes and fell 93-28. While losing is never fun, the Roughriders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1260th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 295th).

Boys Ranch's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Texline, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

Boys Ranch has already played their next game, a 71-53 victory against Hartley on the 11th. As for Texline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 93-52 win against Pringle-Morse on the 11th.
