They combined for a staggering 917 receptions for 16,017 yards and 208 touchdowns in a single season.

And there are only 10 of them.

Those are the cumulative statistics of the top 10 receivers nationally (based on yards) returning from the 2013 season.

Here's a capsule look at all 10. The yards numbers aren't the only impressive ones. Check out the catches, routes and speed.

1. Nolan Borgersen, Westwood (Washington Township, N.J.)

The 6-foot-2, 183-pound incoming senior had 91 catches for 1,894 yards and 26 touchdowns last season for the North 1, Group 2 state champion Cardinals (11-1). The Boston College commit had six games with at least three touchdown catches and twice he caught four in a game.

The 6-foot, 170-pound senior-to-be had 86 catches for 1,708 yards and 21 touchdowns for the 8-4 Wildcats. Joyner, who has an offer from Army and interest from Clemson and East Carolina, had 10 catches for 157 yards and five touchdowns in a win over Hopewell last year.

Joyner did a lot more than catching the ball. He rushed 18 times for 87 yards, had 10 tackles on defense, intercepted a pass and was very effective as a kick and punt returner.

With incoming senior quarterback Josh Ladowski returning, Lake Norman should be able to improve upon its 8-4 record of last season. Ladowski passed for 3,207 yards and 30 touchdowns last year with Joyner as his main receiver.

5. Alex Jamele, Southington (Conn.)

The 6-foot, 170-pound incoming senior did it all for the Blue Knights, with 79 catches, 1,623 yards and 29 touchdowns.
