Fowler and Swink are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Fowler Grizzlies will be playing at home against the Swink Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fowler will be strutting in after a win while Swink will be coming in after a loss.

They really took it to Swallows Charter Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-20 win at home. Given Fowler's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Swallows Charter Academy is ranked 285th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Andrea Maestas continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Bates, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

Even though they lost, Swink smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sangre de Cristo only pulled down four offensive rebounds.
Fowler's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Swink, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Fowler have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.2 rebounds per game.
