Basketball Recap: Covenant Classical Warriors vs. Woodlawn Trailblazers
Covenant Classical took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They blew past the Woodlawn Trailblazers 54-20. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Covenant Classical to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooke Rader, who scored 12 points. Reece Morro was another key player, posting nine points.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covenant Classical is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they face off against UR Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Covenant Classical is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road dating back to last season. As for Woodlawn, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Hills Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 13th.
