Holmdel beats Shore Regional for their eighth straight win

Recap: Holmdel Hornets vs. Shore Regional Blue Devils
The Holmdel Hornets put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They breezed by Shore Regional at home to the tune of 39-0. The result was nothing new for Holmdel, who have now won seven matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.
Holmdel's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.0 points per game. As for Shore Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holmdel will take on Matawan Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Matawan Regional will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Holmdel is ranked 35th). As for Shore Regional, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clayton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
