Soccer Game Preview: Sherando vs. Brentsville District

Sherando is 0-4 against Brentsville District since March of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Warriors will take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Sherando's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Manassas Park 12-0. The high-scoring effort was just what Sherando needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Brentsville District entered their tilt with Millbrook on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 4-0 victory. Brentsville District's winning goal came courtesy of Aubrey Earman.

Brentsville District's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Sherando, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Sherando came up short against Brentsville District in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
