Volleyball Recap: Colette Speros' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cathedral Prep over Clay

Cathedral Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Clay on Saturday. The Ramblers fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cathedral Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colette Speros, who had 11 kills. Speros is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season. Kamryn Resurreccion was another key player, getting 17 assists and six digs.

Cathedral Prep now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Clay, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Cathedral Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Chardon on the 20th. As for Clay, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wadsworth on the 20th.
