Lake Zurich had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Prospect Knights. The Bears were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Knights, so the Bears were just returning the favor.

Gabe Schwartz paced Lake Zurich's offense, picking up eight kills. Schwartz were helped by Wyatt Jones and Yani Oblakov, who contributed nine assists each. Finally, Kuba Rytel kept Lake Zurich's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Lake Zurich's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Prospect, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.

Lake Zurich wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Libertyville on the 26th. As for Prospect, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Maine West on the 26th.
