Messmer entered their tilt with Heritage Christian on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They enjoyed a cozy 88-71 win over the Heritage Christian Patriots. This was payback for the Bishops, who suffered a 101-78 loss the last time these two teams met.

Heritage Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eddie Riebe, who posted 20 points and eight boards. Micah Sells was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 assists.

Messmer's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 86.7 points per game. As for Heritage Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Messmer and Heritage Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings.
