Basketball Game Preview: Ottawa Hills Bengals vs. Forest Hills Central Rangers

Ottawa Hills is 1-9 against Forest Hills Central since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Ottawa Hills Bengals will face off against the Forest Hills Central Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ottawa Hills is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They were outmatched by Muskegon and fell 99-52. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 494th, while the Big Reds are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Forest Hills Central suffered their biggest loss since December 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 71-39 loss at the hands of Hudsonville. The contest marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ottawa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Forest Hills Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.
