St. Michael-Albertville entered their tilt with Brainerd on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Brainerd Warriors as they made off with a 78-57 victory. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Warriors are ranked 92nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Michael-Albertville pushed their record up to 18-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points over those games. As for Brainerd, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Coming up, St. Michael-Albertville will welcome Moorhead at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Moorhead's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Brainerd does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
