Volleyball Recap: Oak Forest Comes Up Short

Oak Forest was the 2-1 winner over Seneca when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bengals fell just short of the Fighting Irish by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Madison Scott paced Oak Forest's offense, picking up three kills. Scott got some help from Betty Redican and her seven assists. Kynzie Oliver and Kennidi Wisniewski kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Oak Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Seneca, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Oak Forest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Wilmington on the 30th. As for Seneca, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Marian Catholic on the 30th.
