Soccer Recap: Friends' Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Springfield on Friday, Friends' Central came back down to earth. Friends' Central fell 4-2 to the Upper Darby Royals on Monday. Friends' Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Upper Darby apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Friends' Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Upper Darby, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Friends' Central will head out to square off against Germantown Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give Friends' Central their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Upper Darby, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Marple Newtown on the 9th.
