Volleyball Recap: Dodgeland Beats Wayland Academy for Their Third Straight Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dodgeland walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wayland Academy Big Red on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-5, 25-18.

Kayden Denure was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 22 assists and four digs. That's the most assists she has posted over her last eight contests.

Dodgeland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 10-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Dodgeland's record is now 19-12. As for Wayland Academy, they are on a 26-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-28.

Looking ahead, Dodgeland will head out on the road to take on Oakfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wayland Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
