Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Vikings vs. Springboro Panthers

Princeton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mari Gerton led the charge by shooting 50% from the field en route to 19 points. Gerton's big performance that afternoon made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Lowe, who posted seven points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds.

Princeton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Springboro faced Mason in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Springboro enjoyed a cozy 59-44 win over Mason.

Springboro's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Princeton, their win bumped their record up to 20-6.
