Baseball Game Preview: East Clinton Astros vs. Felicity-Franklin Cardinals

The East Clinton Astros will face off against the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. East Clinton will be strutting in after a victory while Felicity-Franklin will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, East Clinton sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Peebles.

East Clinton's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Toby Huff, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Felicity-Franklin duked it out with Blanchester on Monday. The Cardinals came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-2. The Cardinals have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Felicity-Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for East Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

East Clinton was able to grind out a solid victory over Felicity-Franklin in their previous matchup on April 11th, winning 5-1. Will the Astros repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
