Basketball Preview: Annapolis Panthers vs. Southern Bulldogs
Annapolis and Southern are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Annapolis Panthers will square off against the Southern Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Annapolis will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
Annapolis will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Old Mill, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Annapolis breezed past Old Mill to the tune of 57-19 on Friday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Annapolis' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mckenzie Fuller, who posted 17 points along with five assists and five boards. Fuller's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Skinner, who put up 14 points.

Annapolis came up short against Southern in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 54-47. Thankfully for Annapolis, Ava Wooster (who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
