Basketball Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss

Cordova lost against Metlakatla back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cordova Wolverines took a 30-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Metlakatla Chiefs.

Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Metlakatla, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cordova will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Valdez at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Metlakatla, they will take on Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Metlakatla is facing Petersburg at the right time seeing as Petersburg is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
