Basketball Game Recap: Springs Valley Blackhawks vs. West Washington Senators

Springs Valley won the last time they faced West Washington, and Keyton Jones did his part to make sure it happened again. The Springs Valley Blackhawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 68-66 win over the West Washington Senators on Friday thanks in part to Jones, who went 11 of 24 en route to 27 points and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Springs Valley's points.

Springs Valley's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-7. As for West Washington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Springs Valley has already played their next game, a 34-32 defeat against Austin on the 18th. As for West Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-50 loss against South Central on the 18th.
